Jeremy Brown co-founded Calgary jazz group Verismo with saxophonist Pat Belliveau, BMus’96, to explore new, original compositions and performance opportunities as well as to create artistic growth and energy. Five years later Verismo has released its debut CD featuring the first recordings made in Calgary for the CBC radio program Jazz Beat.

Verismo has performed at the U of C for convocation, the chancellor’s installation and the Monday Night Jazz Series and at the Beat Niq Jazz and Social Club (pictured above) in downtown Calgary.
